In this case, Mr. Chapman successfully prosecuted a US Border Patrol agent who, while on duty, raped an illegal entrant. The defendant was sentenced to seven years imprisonment. Mr. Chapman received an award for from the Department of Justice as a result of this prosecution for “outstanding prosecution of corruption within the U.S. Department of Justice.”
